Pho 88 #2 Noodles and Boba

This was our first time visiting this location and the food did not disappoint. When we arrived, we were greeted right away and told to take a seat. The restaurant was very clean, bright, and welcoming, and we were given menus while we waited for someone to take our order. Since we’ve been to another Pho 88 location before, I noticed the QR codes on the tables and assumed they were ready to use. At the other location, they have self-order kiosks, and they’re so convenient because you can place your order yourself without waiting in line. It really helps keep things moving. When I asked about the QR codes here, we were told they weren’t available yet. I think once that feature is up and running, it’ll make the dining experience even smoother. It also seemed like they’re still getting settled.(sorry if not, I just don’t come to this side of town much) There were only two employees taking orders for the entire restaurant, and while we were waiting, several people came in after us to place to-go orders. There were also a couple of other tables seated around the same time as us. So it took a little bit to come around however, I know opening a new location comes with a learning curve

FIRST AND LAST TIME WE GET FOOD FROM HERE - RUNNN My husband called in and order over the phone and placed an order for chicken and beef pho. Upon arrival, He noticed that they rang up the order for chicken and shrimp pho. When he asked for clarification on the order, he specified it was one beef and one chicken pho. The young employee said “i’m pretty sure you ordered shrimp” and gave him attitude. They corrected the issue (so we thought) and were disappointed by the packaging and amount of meat we received. The meat was supposed to be medium rare but somehow not cooked enough and bled into my beef pho veggies. I am pregnant and cannot risk getting ill. NEVER will be come back, this was our first time ever visiting and our last. Not worth it.

Best pho in town in in my opinion. I decided to try some of the other menu items and that’s why I took off 1 star. The calamari in the photo is like covered in a thick donut like breading and it’s huge and not crunchy. I also tried the vermicelli chicken and the chicken did not taste right. The chicken was chewy and looked very weird and “plasticky” for lack of a better term. I couldn’t eat it. I asked the waitress if I could have something else and they gladly switched it out for the beef bahn mi. They are very nice staff and I would really recommend the pho and bahn mi and to definitely try this place out.

(Vin) my favorite waiter very Awsome and respectful guy, a must have waiter and more corporatve then the other 3 waiters there. Atmosphere here looks really nice and live and vibefull. Water great no tap taste or sharp water so its perfect. Pho was good on a 7/10 a little on the weak side and not enough noodles for me (pho addict my self) but still quite good. Verminelli was 6/10 noodles were a bit to soft for my liking, has a pool of water at the bottom not including the nuc cham-(fish suace) alone is a bit watery itself, peach bobba tea was very sweet but over all i still liked it. Prices are really high but it is a very new place and its a very nice looking one at that too.

This spot is a gem. They have my all time favorite dish, Bun Bo Hue, and it was simmered to perfection. It’s well priced, super clean and the food was fast. Really glad the area has some more authentic local Vietnamese dishes. The fresh veggies really highlight the flavors of the food.
